Coordination of SONAR project

The Sonar Anty-CoronaVirus Project is carried out by the Nencki Institute in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw and laboratories of Sanepid and Medical University in Łódź, founded by Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland)

Scientists have created coronavirus collective testing procedures using commercially available PCR genetic tests. It is a great screening tool. They allow to determine to what extent the virus is spread in a given group (e.g. in companies, factories, hospitals or universities).

The project is coordinated by Dr Aleksandra Pękowska together with

prof. Agnieszka Dobrzyń from Nencki Institute.
